When creating an update set that changes the "sys_ui_section" of the default view, the following error occurs when applying it:
"Found a local update that is newer than this one"
The "sys_ui_section" of the environment to which it is applied has not been changed, so there is no new information.
I often see this error with the default view.
Why is that?

did you compare?
If you are sure you want the changes from update set then accept the remote update.

I compared them, and all the remote information was up to date.
The only thing that bothers me is that the following sys_id is different between remote and local, and the local "Knowledge Management V3" was updated after the update set was created.
This is probably why the error occurs.
<sys_package display_value="Knowledge Management V3" source="com.snc.knowledge3">~(sys_id)</sys_package>

seems the plugin updated the form section later than the time when the form section was updated in DEV.
Since it came from plugin you are good to accept the remote update as you want the form changes as per your customer updates in your update set.

Hi @bonsai
Found a local update that is newer than this one, issue usually happens when there are overlapping or conflicting updates between the update set you're trying to import and the current version of the system or updates that have been previously applied.
will sugest you to campare "sys_ui_section" customer update in your update set with older version on the instance where your trying deploy your customer updates.
In cases like these there is an option to compare the version which thus would give a clearer understanding whether to Accept or Skip the updates.
