I am a supplier for a ton of businesses that use this platform. I need to check on the status of invoices and upload them for them to be able to pay, but have no idea how to get started. All I have been able to do is create an account.

You are not going to get access to companies' financial information by creating an account on servicenow.com. It just doesn't work that way - for security/privacy, amongst other reasons. You need to arrange appropriate access with the individual companies you supply.

SN don't hold any financial data of thier customers or partners on website. 

Or you have invoices n you want to add those in SN via automation then use documents intelligence.
