Certification Revoked After Passing Data Foundations Exam – Need Guidance on Retake

Hi Team,

I recently completed the ServiceNow Data Foundations exam in March 2026 at an authorized offline test center, ensuring that I followed all the prescribed guidelines during the exam.

However, in May 2026, I received an email stating that my certification has been invalidated/revoked, without any detailed reason provided. This has been quite confusing, as:

  • My Now Learning portal shows the course status as “Passed”, but
  • My certification status is marked as “Revoked”

Additionally, the communication mentioned that I need to retake the exam, but I am currently facing the following issues:

  • I do not see any option to retake the exam
  • There are no clear instructions on how to proceed with the retake

I would appreciate your help on the following:

  1. What could be the possible reason for certification revocation despite taking the exam at an authorized offline center and following all rules?
  2. How can I enable or access the retake option?
  3. Do I need to wait for any action from ServiceNow, or raise a specific request/ticket?

If anyone has faced a similar situation or can guide me on the next steps, it would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance!
