CIS-CSM Exam Learning Material

Hi,

Looking at taking the CIS-CSM exam soon. I've read that the exam asks questions outside of the ebook, is that true?

If so, which resources can i use? Or should i stick to studying the ebook only?

I am a ServiceNow trainer and frequently speak with candidates about this.

The eBook serves as the single source of truth for all mainline exams. However, if the eBook is based on an older version while the exam is on the latest version, Xanadu, you can bridge the gap by going through the delta study guide for CIS-ITSM, which will be more beneficial.

As versions change, there is a possibility that 5-10 new questions might appear based on the latest updates, while the rest will be from the older version—this is based on experience. That said, the eBook remains the primary source of study.

Recommendation:

Read the eBook 3-4 times
Practice labs (read and perform them)
Book the exam once you're confident

Hi Mark , i recently joined in the role - i don't see the problem learning all workflows in more detail? Do you have any other suggestions to learn the workflows? Or should i automatically know them from the start?

The course material from now learning should help you.

Ensure you go through the release notes of the latest release as some questions also come from that section.
