Course paths

I'm currently looking at the courses and am a bit confused by the wording.

On the Implementer track it states, on Practitioner Implementer, "you are a Certified System Administrator (CSA)
On the Associate Implementer course it ends with becoming "Becoming a  ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA)

However, there is also a completely separate career journey  for System Administrator.

Does this mean you have to complete the System Admin journey first then move onto the Implementer
or
Can you do the implementer track and just have to complete the Associate first (you can't just jump ahead)

Hi @Mike88 ,

You can pursue the ServiceNow Implementer track without first completing the Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. While CSA is not mandatory, it is highly recommended as it provides foundational and basic knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, which can be beneficial for implementation roles in the future. The Associate Implementer course is designed for those who may not yet be CSA-certified, offering a pathway to become a ServiceNow System Administrator. Therefore, you can begin with the Implementer track and complete the Associate Implementer course before moving on to the CSA certification.

Hi @Mike88

I know the Nowlearning courses can be confusing sometimes. CSA is the first and basic certification to start with in the ServiceNow ecosystem. Once you complete CSA, you can then choose the implementation path. It’s not mandatory to have CSA, but it’s highly recommended because CSA provides a full background on the platform and its components. So, do the CSA training first, then pick up the implementation path.

Thank you Dr Atul

So i don't need to do the separate System Administrator journey first.
Providing I start with the Associate Implementer course and attain the Certified System Administrator (CSA) for completing this first I should be fine to them move onto the Practitioner course?

Hi @Mike88

If you’ve already started, it’s better to complete the journey as it will definitely be beneficial. But if you’re done with the CSA exam, then you can pick the ITSM or other implementation training and start from there.
