Depends on the role but CSA is the first everyone takes.

CAD is not mandatory but as i said depends on what role and what is your ultimate goal, if you want to take CIS then you can take it without CAD.

Both Cert cost is $300 each plus taxes and training cost is $500 each.

 

The best pratice say start with CSA and then go for CAD.
