I wanna Book a slot in the 1st week of september for CSA examination of Washington DC,

I heard that new version will be upgraded in september.

Is that okay to schedule in september(1st week) or else do i need to book the slot before the Blackout Window.(i,e.,before 13Aug).

Please someone explain clearly and give some guidance ....because I'm currently preparing for the examination and busy with college Placements.

Hi @AmaravadiSiddhu
Yes, you can book a slot for the CSA examination in the 1st week of September. However, be aware that if a new version of the exam is being released in September, you might want to consider booking your slot before the Blackout Window (before August 13) to ensure you're tested on the current version you’ve been preparing for. Scheduling before the Blackout Window can help avoid any last-minute changes or updates to the exam content.

@AmaravadiSiddhu If you are confident clearing the exam prior to the black out window then please go ahead and schedule the same otherwise continue to prepare for the exam and schedule it once the blackout window is over. Generally the questions related to exam don't vary much with consecutive releases. However, you can review the release notes of the Washington release to complete your preparation. Hope this helps.

Hi there,

Its really up to you to decide 😀. Do you want to do the exam on short notice or can you wait a few weeks.

The exam will be updated during the maintenance window, updated to the latest release. Or latest release... Washington GA is already available for more than 4 months. And updated means like a few questions will be revised/replaced/added. Though its NOT like out of 60 questions, 30 will be new about Washington! No from experience and answers given on the community, I can say that max. 5 questions will be different. And Washington is already available for a while, so you should have made some steps on that release already right?

So really up to you.

Kind regards,

Hi @AmaravadiSiddhu

If you are ready for the exam, don't wait. Once the release has been updated, you may ask 5-6 questions differently (based on previous experience)
