Hi everyone,
I hope you are doing well.
I have an important question regarding the CSA Delta exam. Currently, I am not working in any company, but I want to maintain my CSA certification as it is very important for my career.
Is there any possibility to take the CSA Delta exam without paying the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) fee? Are there any exceptions, discounts, or support options available for individuals who are not employed?
This is very important for me, and I would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions.
Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi @begumbhanu3
There is no option to waive the CMP fee until and unless your organization is Partner company.
ServiceNow requires a mandatory annual Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) fee—typically USD 200 (plus tax)—for professionals holding mainline certifications. This fee is necessary to maintain certification status and to access delta exams.
Payment must be made through Now Learning using a credit card or company learning credits.
Please note that the deadline is April 16, 2026. Ensure that you complete the Delta Exam before this date.

Hi @begumbhanu3 ,
The USD 200 amount you are seeing is the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) fee, which applies when all of the following conditions are met:
- You have held at least one mainline certification (CSA, CAD, CIS, etc.) for one year or more
- A Delta exam window is currently open for the active release
- Your Now Learning account is not associated with a qualifying ServiceNow Customer or Partner organization that covers CMP fees
As per ServiceNow policy:
“An annual certification maintenance fee of $200 (or $100 for Partner organizations) is required once a certification is one year old.”
Exceptions:
- Your certification is less than one year old
In this case, the Delta exam can be taken at no cost. If less than 12 months have passed since earning the certification, the CMP fee does not apply.
