Hi @PoojithaVap ,

Update sets in ServiceNow primarily capture configuration changes and metadata, not data or transactional records. Specifically, they generally do not capture:
* Data: Records like incidents, problems, change requests, and other transactional data are not automatically included.
* Users and Groups: Changes related to users and groups, including roles and memberships, are not captured.
* Scheduled Jobs: Modifications to scheduled jobs and background scripts are not automatically included.
* Homepages: Homepages are not automatically captured unless manually added.
* Database Changes: Changes to the database structure itself are not included.
* Application Scope: Update sets primarily work within a single application scope and may not capture changes across different scopes.
While some records like related lists may be captured, it's crucial to ensure they are properly added to the update set and that the update set scope is correct.
Forcing records into an update set or using XML exports can be necessary for capturing certain items like users, groups, and related lists.
