Hello,

I am new to ServiceNow and was looking at different options of training for myself.

Very impressed with the online introduction course, demo portal, wiki documentation and the youtube channel.

I think there is enough material already available to get started.

I want to gain administrator and developer skills in ServiceNow.

Appreciate if I can get some guidance on the following:

- Is there a hands-on practice lab that I can subscribe to? I think the demo portal - https://demochannel.service-now.com   has limited options for getting hands-experience as an administrator and also as a developer

- Will the online free courses and wiki documentation be enough to get good hands-on practice/experience

- What other courses should I look at after completing the ones available currently?

- To be certified do I need to attend ServiceNow's authorized training?

Hi,

I have tried to open

https://demo000.service-now.com/login.do

from demo000 to demo023. but I am not able to found "Application creation" option under system applications for practice.

Can you please help how i can get the same.

Please register on developers.servicenow.com to have your own personal dev instance.

Demo instance which you have mentioned are public and it is accessible to everyone. So there might be chances that instance will not be in OOB state.

If you have the time and money then this class is very good for hands on labs and general admin knowledge about ServiceNow.

ServiceNow | Training | System Administration Training

Also, there are multiple other classes after attending that one. I would recommend Scripting in ServiceNow if you are going down the developer path.
