how to pay only for Certified Application Developer exam & not for training?

When I tried to enroll for ServiceNow CAD in Webassessor I was unable to pay for it, 

it did say 300$ but there was no option for check out & it asked for a Voucher code, which I didn't have - 

after some research I did see that I would have to go through the training in the Now learning Portal, which is fine,

But certain courses within the learning path had select class option & then it redirected to Saba cloud & I saw the price was not less than 1700$ for those courses, that's a lot of money I don't intend to spend.

Do I really need to spend this much to get the voucher code for the CAD exam to enroll in Webassessor?

isn't there a simpler way to pay & enroll for these courses without paying so much for the trainings?

Hi there,

Basically: no voucher, no exam. Even though webassessor does mention prices like $300 or $450. No voucher, no exam. Generally, you can get a voucher through a (virtual) class.

ServiceNow is shifting to (a lot cheaper) on demand courses, also CAD is on the roadmap. With that course, after completion, you can buy a voucher for only $300 (+ TAX). Though unfortunately... the on demand CAD course is not out yet. So at this moment, you cannot buy a voucher.

So only option at this moment is to obtain a voucher through a (virtual) class. With that voucher, you can book your webassessor exam.

Hi,

You need to get Enrolled for the CAD training.

After completing the training you will get the Voucher code which when applied will make the amount as 0$ for the certification exam.
