Infinity HHD vs Strawberry sFone

Hi, I am doing Capstone project in ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals On Demand (Course) 

 

In Lab 5.2 after I built catalog item Infinity HHD from catalog builder, I can see this item in All>self service>service catalog> hardware. In Capstone project, I import a service catalog item  (cd_sfone_catalog_item.xml),  which contains the sFone Service Catalog item, into the instance. If I go to System Update Sets > Local Update Sets, I can see Strawberry sFone. But, I can not see this item in All>self service>service catalog. just wondering what is differnece between Infinity HHD and Strawberry sFone? why I can not see Strawberry sFone in All>self service>service catalog?

Hi Chengwei,

I guess you need to import the XML from "Retrieved Update Sets" module and not local update set. There is an import link at the bottom of page in Retrieved Update set, upload your file here (by default its from list view). Once done, open the record uploaded, you can see buttons "Preview", click this and next click on "Commit" button. This will induce the changes in to your instance, you can find the target Cat Item then.
