Hello.
I paid the maintenance fee for ServiceNow. I added my personal tax number to the invoice.
Later on, my company said they would pay the fee but I need to change the tax number to the company's number. Reached out to the ServiceNow support team and initially their response was to reach out to Digital River team, and that they couldnt change.
Reached out to Digital River team, and they said they cannot do it, its ServiceNow.
Reached out again to ServiceNow and they said that for my country they won't do it.
Why is this so hard? Can someone explain this to me? Where is this policy that says that the number cannot be changed?

Hi @SC4 - I feel your pain! These situations are so frustrating and such a waste of time to deal with.
Your best option might be to go back to your company, explain the steps you've taken, and see if they can give you a break and relax their policy. It sounds like they are just as responsible as SN and DR for making this difficult.
It should be a simple expense reimbursement claim, right? You have a document proving you spent the money personally, what more do they want?
But then again I know absolutely nothing about Portuguese tax law.
Good luck!

If the company is paying, it needs to be part of their expenses, thus needing their tax number on the invoice.
I am not sure why it is so hard to change a number. I have done this once long time ago.
