I'm trying to validate the task.  Error message: the validation has run into an error, please check that the instance is running and that you set up the task exactly as instructed.
Instance is Running, I followed all the steps, Impersonated the Platform User, Pinned the All menu, Navigate to Self-Service Knowledge, Explored the homepage, and Favorite the knowledge module.
Please see screen captures and advise.

We can try ending the impersonation once, then impersonate the Platform User again, and retry step 4 (adding the Knowledge module to Favorites). Sometimes this helps in validating the task successfully. If not, you can try terminating the lab instance and requesting a new one, which often resolves the validation issue.

In your case, the error usually comes from the lab validator not finding exactly what it expects, even if you think you did the steps right. Here’s how to troubleshoot in simple steps:

Impersonation check → Make sure you are impersonating the exact user mentioned in the instructions (e.g., “Platform User”). If you impersonated once and switched back, restart the impersonation.

Pinned menu → Confirm you pinned the “All” menu from the correct spot (left navigation, click the pushpin icon). Sometimes learners pin a module instead of the whole menu.

Navigation path → Go to Self-Service > Knowledge exactly from the left navigation menu, not by search or bookmark. The validator checks navigation steps.

Favorite module → In the Knowledge module, click the star ★ in the left menu to add it to favorites. Ensure it shows up in your favorites list.

Refresh before validate → After finishing all steps, reload the instance page (CTRL+F5) and then re-run the validation.

Error still presenting. Steps followed to troubleshoot.
Since I had impersonated the user before.  I ended the impersonation and then started the step again. Impersonate> Type in "Platform User", select the user, click Impersonate User
Since I had already pinned the All menu, I unpinned the All menu and refreshed.
Click All Menu, click pin icon (Whole menu is displayed)
Physically navigated to Self-Service in the menu, clicked Knowledge below Self-Service, allowed the module to load.
Since I had previously marked Knowledge as a Favorite, I selected it to restart the steps.
Clicked the Favorite icon (star) next to Knowledge in the menu

Clicked on Favorites list to ensure it was present.
After finishing all the steps, I refreshed the instance using CTLR_F5 and re-ran the validation.
Same error presented.
I'm going to terminate the instance and try to start fresh.
PLEASE advise. I'm open to all suggestions.  TY in advance for your support!

Same error message is being presented.  I followed the instructions and references above even navigating to Self-service>Knowledge and not by search or bookmark.  Ensured the module shows in the favorites list and reloaded the instance (CTLR+F5) then re-ran the validation.
