Password reset error

Password Reset Error

This user cannot use the configured Password Reset process. Possible reasons:
  • User does not exist or is not enrolled.
  • User is not part of the configured password reset process.
  • User is blocked (exceeded the limit on reset attempts or reset password recently).
  • User account is locked.
Try again later. For immediate assistance, call the service desk.
I got this more than 3 times of trying, I eventually tried to change the time after reaching maximum chances in properties section to 10  minutes,but I'm still getting the same error.Can u please explain what to do ?

@A_Chandana Since this error is coming on a now learning demo instance, you can try to find the original user name and password on the Now learning course page itself or check your email registered with the now learning. Usually, the instance details are shared over email when someone opts for the course. 

 

If your account is locked out, then you can raise a Now learning support case and ask the support to reset your password.

You are using PDI and in PDI it is not the way to reset the password. To get password

 Login to developer.servcienow.com

Go to profile

Go to manage instance password.
