This post shares learning notes from troubleshooting lab validation issues encountered while working through the Virtual Agent module in the Welcome to ServiceNow (Zurich) course. It focuses on common error messages you may encounter if the validation fails.
Note: Some labs assume you are continuing from previous modules and still impersonating Platform User, even if this is not explicitly stated in the task instructions.
And just like that, we're onto the final module of the Welcome to ServiceNow (Zurich) course and we're finishing off with a task that provides hands-on experience of the concepts covered in the Virtual Agent Lesson content including:
- Using Virtual Agent
- Accessing a Knowledge Article
- Providing feedback on a Knowledge Article
Below are some of the error messages that may be presented when trying to validate the task
- Were you able to access the Password Reset Instructions KB article via Virtual Agent in the Service Portal?
This error is linked to steps 1-7 in the task instructions however, you must complete steps 1-10 before the simulator will validate the task. - Did you mark the article as helpful, submit a 5 star rating, and submit a comment?
This part of the error message is specific to steps 8-10 of the task instructions.
Make sure that you have
a. marked the article as helpful
b. given the article a 5 star rating
c. added a comment of your choice and clicked the 'Submit' button
