I recently took the CIS-ITSM exam for the second time, and unfortunately, I failed again. Looking at the Topic Level Scoring they sent me, I think I may have done worse when compared to the last time I took the exam.
First attempt:
Topic Level Scoring:
1 - Incident Management: 53%
2 - Problem Management: 77%
3 - Change Management: 53%
4 - Service Portfolio Management: 100%
5 - Request Fulfillment: 80%
6 - Configuration Management Database: 100%
Second Attempt:
Topic Level Scoring:
1 - Incident Management: 60%
2 - Problem Management: 77%
3 - Change Management: 53%
4 - Service Portfolio Management: 33%
5 - Request Fulfillment: 60%
6 - Configuration Management Database: 100%
This has proven to be very difficult for me since I am on the autism spectrum. I was diagnosed at a young age and spent much of my adult life working hard to compensate for the challenges that it brings. However, one aspect of life that's still very difficult is working with standardized tests.
In order to try and stop myself from having to deal with constant exam re-take fees, I've decided to request for special accommodations since I can't keep doing this. It's not good for my mental health or my finances. So I'd like to ask some questions from anyone that might be able to shed some light on what I need to do to get special accommodations.
1) Has anyone ever asked ServiceNow or Kryterion or whoever is responsible to see the grading of their test? Like see exactly which questions they got wrong? I don't even need to know what the right answer was; as long as I know which ones were wrong, I could then find out what the right answer is. Has anyone ever done this before?
2) I've received special accommodations for testing back when I was in college, and don't recall what kind of information I need to provide in order to show a need for special accommodations. Does anyone know what kind of documentation they might ask for?
3) I'm trying to pass this exam before ServiceNow moves away from Kryterion for managing online proctoring. Does anyone have any information or any idea if there will be any significant changes to the test or retake policy or anything like that once the switch is made?
Any input on special accommodations would be very welcome. There's very little information out there when it comes to what to do about special accommodations for ServiceNow Mainline exams.
