I'm planning to take the CSA exam in January.
can anyone please guide me..
what is the cost for the exam??
when will that CSA certificate expire??
in the next 3 years or I have to take the delta exams??
delta exams also have to be purchased?? or free??
when will be the next delta exam if my CSA exam is in january??

- CSA training is $300 and exam is $300 plus taxes. If you are working with Partner org then it is free else need to pay.
when will that CSA certificate expire??
- Until the next Delta exams for new release.
in the next 3 years or I have to take the delta exams??
- Yes, you need to take up the delta exam every year to renew the certificate for new release

- It needs to be purchased.
when will be the next delta exam if my CSA exam is in january??
- Since you will be taking Xanadu version CSA exam therefore next delta will be next year.

Delta exams are technically free if you're working with a partner company. Either you or your company needs to pay the $200 maintenance fee to keep your mainline certification active. So, stating that the delta exam needs to be purchased isn't entirely accurate.

Hi, thanks for the information. I got a question too; say that you got the CSA and then you want to do the CIS-SM exam. Do the CSA has to be still valid before doing the next exam? If I got certified with the CIS-SM, would I need to only renew the latter or also the CSA?

Yes, CSA certificate will expire, if you don't take the Delta Exams which happens once every year.

Delta Exams are Free, no need to pay again.The delta exam period for the Xanadu release is currently scheduled for January 15, 2025 through April 15, 2025.
