I took a course in June 2017. It shows on my transcript but not my ServiceNow now-creators profile. I really do not want to repeat all of these videos. How do we get our older courses to appear?

Shane,
Sorry for the inconvenience. As Kristi said, above, "If you've watched all the videos but haven't received credit, please reach out to the Now Creators team at nowcreators@servicenow.com and let us know so we can work with you individually."

I am about to start my second round of reviewing the videos. It is highly suggested that i have at least six months of hands on prior to taking the exam, after the 3 day course.
Is there placement or internships offered for those of us who are not current using ServiceNow?
Thanks

Andrew,
If I understand correctly, you're interested in working or interning at ServiceNow. Here are some web sites that may be helpful:
- Careers at ServiceNow
- Internships (search for internship on the ServiceNow Careers site)
- ServiceNow Job Search site
- ServiceNow Training and Certification
If you need to gain experience with the ServiceNow platform, you can request a free developer instance through our ServiceNow Developer Program.

Hi Jim,
Some of the other members suggested a couple of ways to track:
- bookmark each video after you watch it
- mark the video as helpful (my favorite)
I have also attached an XLS that you can use to track the videos (a more professional version coming soon).
Remember that if you would like to get credit for the Now Creators milestones, be sure to sign in to the Community.
I hope this helps.

I would like to get the Foundational Videos achievement, but it is unclear to me how watching these videos is tracked, and if it is tracked.
- Can someone let me know how the progress is tracked?
- I have gone through much of this material on the service now developer site. (https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/lp/new_to_servicenow?v=newyork) Is there a way I can get credit for the material I have already watched

HI Paul
For me - i watched each video, selected the helpful icon and also bookmarked each video as i went.
About 24 hours after completion of all videos, they showed up as being complete
You need to watch them (or at least play them) to get the recognition.
You need to ensure you are logged into your account when doing so as well.
Good luck
Shane.

Hi Paul,
Shane provided some great tips for tracking the videos. When you are logged into Community and you click on each video, the video ID's are tracked in a log. Once all 31 videos have been watched, it will mark the milestone as completed. Unfortunately there's no way that we can give you equivalent credit for work done on the developer site since it's looking for those exact 31 videos.
We appreciate the feedback and will forward to the Developer team to investigate the parallels. Feel free to reachout to us directly at Nowcreators@servicenow.com.

Kristi from the ServiceNow Now Creators team

I had problems getting credit for downloading and reading the pdfs and powerpoints for the next two achievements. I think the problem was that I was right clicking to download, and not just clicking. I think this fooled their site. If that was your problem, you can click on all the links and that will give you the credit on the back-end - as far as I can tell.

A coworker and I were able to get the badge to pop by disabling CORS in Chrome.
After disabling the CORS you just need to open the links and it should give you credit.
- Create a shortcut on your desktop.
- Right-click on the shortcut and click Properties.
- Edit the Target property.
- Set it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --disable-web-security --user-data-dir="C:/ChromeDevSession"

Sushil, I checked just now, and I'm able to access the videos. So I'm wondering if there was a service interruption when you tried. Please try again. If you get the same error, post a response here. In the meantime, I'll look into what that error message means.
If you're trying to access the videos from work, it's possible that your company blocks YouTube content from employees. Could you check on that?

Hi Martijn,
It's not necessary to watch all at once. Just remember to be signed in when you watch. An easy way to track which ones you have watched is to mark them as helpful when you are done.
Thanks,
Kristi Grace

Hi There, no you don't have to watch everything all at once. Just make sure to track what you have watched by pressing the like button. In this way, you will know that you have already watched the video.
Cheers

Just download them and for sure read the materials. Sometimes it does not work immediately, either wait up to 12 hours or retry with fresh browser session. For me it worked only after 3rd try.

Hi Daniel,
For all milestones, once you have clicked Complete now, it will take you to the activity. Follow the instructions; download and read, complete the Success Navigator, watch videos, etc. After you have completed the action, the milestone will be marked as completed.
Michael is correct; if it doesn't happen immediately, you can refresh your screen, log out and back in, etc. Feel free to reach out to us at NowCreators@ServiceNow.com with any additional questions.
Regards,
Kristi Grace

Hi,
The job aid for tracking the foundation videos is now attached to the milestone. Look for "For more information, see our step-by-step guidance". If you see this on any other Now Creator milestone, click the link and it will open a job aid for that milestone.

Kristi from the ServiceNow Now Creators team

Would be nice if those who had already completed foundations courses and demonstrated knowledge by completing CIS or similar certificates could get credit for this content.

Since it's not a credited course, it's not showing on Now Creator portal, there should be a place to make them as completed as it's mentioned in the attached pdf.

Hi,
The foundation videos are used as a milestone in Now Creators for the following roles: Administrator, Developer, Service Owner, and Business Process Analyst. The key is to ensure you are logged into Community and watch all 31 videos. The attached job aid is a way you can manually track the videos since most people don't watch in one sitting.
As Katherine mentions in an earlier comment, the video set is informal and not tracked or assessed. It's not a credited course, just a reference for your own use (though we do recommend watching it before taking the System Administration course).
Regards,
Kristi

Hi Kristi,
I'm working my way through the videos and was wondering if credit is received in Now Creators if I watch the videos in YouTube. I'm logged into the Community, but it's easier for me to view the content if I click on the 'Watch on youtube.com' link that directs me to the video.
