You can't change the fact that you have little to no experience, but what you can change is HOW you go about searching for a job to better your chances. You can also change HOW you interview beyond just studying interview questions.

 

 

Career Journeys with ServiceNow

 

Career journeys are designed around in-demand roles in the ServiceNow ecosystem. Choose one that fits your interests, and you can choose a starting level based on your skills and experience. Get a recommendation if you're not sure where to start.

 

Each journey includes different levels of achievement that are aligned with the demands of the job market. For example, a career journey with four levels of expertise will have achievement levels such as Associate, Practitioner, Professional and Expert. Each journey level provides guidance on the skills needed to be job-ready for that specific level of expertise. You can start at any level, and we will help you find the right level based on your skills and experience.

 

Enroll in a level, then choose any tile of content you want to start with. A content landing page is the first page you will see when you click on a tile, outlining the course/content description and any prerequisites before launching.

 

System Administrator

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the Now Platform for your company, including initial setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You'll also act as a technical coach for your colleagues.

 

Application Developer

In this role, you'll solve customer problems with creativity and imagination. You'll use your deep understanding of the Now Platform to design, build, and manage technology solutions to meet your organization's business requirements.

     

Platform Owner

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating the overall strategy, governance and optimization of the ServiceNow platform within an organization.

 

Implementer

In this role, you'll work closely with organizations to understand their technical needs, business requirements, and processes. Once you've analyzed your organization's existing processes, you'll configure the platform to address their unique needs.

     

Technical Project Manager

In this role, you'll plan, manage, and execute technical projects in collaboration with business leaders and technical teams. This role requires a broad set of skills and activities, from overseeing a project's execution to planning and budgeting for the future.

 

Business Process Analyst

In this role, you'll help organizations document their processes, define business requirements, and create implementation plans. You'll also ensure your organizations' data is accurate to create reliable reports, visualizations, and dashboards.

     

Support Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and resolving customer issues by utilizing ServiceNow.

Passing the System Administrator Certification Exam demonstrates mastery of ServiceNow System Administration and certifies that a candidate has the skills and essential knowledge necessary to manage the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. Successfully passing this certification exam also establishes the core skill set necessary to pursue further certification for individuals.
