Unable to link webassessor email address in now learning portal

Hi Team,

I am unable to link up my webassessor email address in my now learning. It is showing an error like below even i am entering the same mail id with which i have registered.

How can i fix this. Can anyone please help me on this?

I guess this is one of pathetic portal with so many complications, dependencies and gimmicks. They could have kept it simple.

GO TO WEBASSESOR and BOOK the exam like whole lot of other world do.

I am still facing an issue and asking me to open the case..........for now reason.

I HAVE A FIX! (skip to the bottom for the answer). I have the real answer for this! I created a Webassessor account and tried to link it to my NowLearning. I ran into the same issue where it gave me this error: 

"We are unable to link your Webassessor account at this time. Please open a case so we can notify you when a fix is made. You will also want to verify you are attempting to link your Webassessor email address and not your Webassessor login name (which is often an email address)."

I thought for sure I had messed it up, since my Webassessor login name was the same as my email address. I was also unable to open a case by clicking that link, it said I was not allowed to. So I had to manually open a case. I saw that everyone had to wait 3 weeks, but they replied to me overnight.

THE ANSWER: 

Wait 24-48 hours after making your Webassessor account before attempting to link it! That was the fix for me. I actually received a notification that my account was linked overnight, despite it giving me that error. Best of luck out there! To those googling this issue like I did 😉
