Any webcam with 720p or better will work just fine.

Last time I used a Logitech C920, which also does HD (but not necessary).

Just make sure you get one with at least a meter long cable o it as you need to place the webcam away from your laptop/desktop showing your entire working area, most of them should have a cable that long, but it pays to check.

Cheers

Carl.

Hi Victor, What are the camera requirements? Note: You will not be allowed to use an internal camera unless permitted by your Test Sponsor. If you are unsure which camera is allowed, please contact your Test Sponsor. A camera with a heavy base and flexible neck allows for easier placement. The webcam you choose must meet the following criteria: Minimum Video Resolution of 720p with a frame rate of 30 fps High Speed USB 2.0 connection - Plug and Play preferred Cord length of 6 ft (2 m) or more Manual focus ring No auto zoom or auto focus allowed. These features must be turned off. Built-in microphone The following are not acceptable as camera alternatives: Digital cameras/camcorders Smartphones GoPros Tablets Playstation Eye/Camera Eye Toy Kinect Additional laptops/computers. Please Note: Driver issues with Internet Explorer and the Logitech C920 and C270 cameras have caused delayed video loading, which may negatively impact your exam experience. It may be beneficial to download the latest webcam drivers prior to launching your exam. Proper Camera Placement INTERNAL CAMERA VIEW: The proctor will need to see your full face clearly during your exam with the internal camera. Please be sure to remove any watches or lanyards, and remove any electronic devices like smartphones, tablets, etc, before launching your exam. EXTERNAL (USB) CAMERA VIEW:The proctor will need to see all of the following items at the same time, from a side-profile view: The entire keyboard and mouse, a few inches on each side of the keyboard and mouse, tester's entire head and torso, as well as 6-12 inches behind tester's back. Please be sure to remove any watches or lanyards, and remove any electronic devices like smartphones, tablets, etc, before launching your exam. Regards, Vishakha

Is the laptops own camera is required too. Or just the additional camera is needed for the exam

Hi @INDRAJITM

Just the additional camera is required. You do not require the laptop's internal camera.

To put it another way: the exam supervisor needs to see a view of both you and your computer at the same time. So the view from any camera attached to your computer is not suitable.
