Hi members, I'm a recent servicenow graduate, I'd like to ask if there are things to look out for to get entry level service now role (developer/Administration) in the UK, should I focus on building applications and practicing or reading for CSA? I have less than a year experience as a front-end developer.
Thanks 🙂

In an entry-level position, I think it's unlikely that you will be creating scoped applications so I would work through the Fundamentals course if you haven't already, and take the CSA exam once you have a few months on-the-job experience.

Hi Aishat, Matthew is right. From experience, I see those developer roles are more available, though you might be working as both when employed. If you need hands-on development training, it would help if you could carry out as many tasks as you can on the learning section of the developer site. Most of the tasks have been stimulated to reflect proper work environments. I live I'm Manchester too, so if you require further assistance, you could reach out.
All the best.

Hi Aishat,
This entirely depends on the direction you would like to take and there are many options open to you irrespective of where you live. You could apply to work for ServiceNow, a Customer, a Partner or even as a freelance contractor and many roles now are remote or flexible.
- if you want to work for a Servicenow Customer - CSA is absolutely the way forward
- Partners are always on the look out for junior consultants if you'd rather be a Technical Implementation Consultant - check out the various fundamentals and implementation specialist material.
- If you want a career in App development, check out the list of technology partners in the Partner Finder find one that suits you and see if they are hiring. - practice building apps and get familiar with UI Builder
Most importantly keep using the community to ask questions and share what you've learned
best of luck in whatever path you chose!
