I am currently facing challenges in implementing custom Many-to-Many (M2M) tables in UI Builder related lists, particularly with the functionality of the "Add" button. I have created two M2M tables to establish relationships with a primary table and wish to leverage UI Builder for a seamless user experience.
Here is the specific issue I am encountering with the "Add" button:
1. Add Button Functionality:
a. I have successfully created an "Add" button for my custom M2M tables.
b. The modal for adding records is getting opened upon clicking the "Add" button.
c. However, after selecting records from the modal, they are not being added to the related list as intended.
2. Remove Button Functionality:
a. The "Remove" button is not initially inactive, contrary to the desired behavior.
b. Additionally, the select box for choosing related records is not visible, preventing users from selecting records for removal.
3. Implementation Details:
a. I have configured related list actions and created actions for the custom M2M tables.
b. Added custom "Add" and "Remove" buttons with associated scripts for my tables.
c. Modeled the "Remove" button based on the existing out-of-the-box functionality, but encountering issues with its initial state and record selection.
