Hi Community,
I'v been reading conflicting information online for upgrading DemoHub and instances. My main question is do we have to completely zBoot and reinstall DemoHub from scratch every time we move to a major release? (i.e. upgrading form Xanadu to Zurich)
Or can I just upgrade to the new release and use the DemoHub upgrade feature to get the newest release?
Main reason I'm asking is that reinstalling DemoHub scenarios is taking anywhere from a week to 3 weeks depending upon what's being installed.

Hi @NateW9145055026 !
From my personal experience: unfortunately you need to zBoot a demo instance to get the latest demos after you upgrade the instance.
Regarding your three-week timeline. That's crazy, it should only take a few hours at the most.
I had a very similar experience and took it up with support. It turned out our demo instance had been incorrectly configured. They reconfigured it and the problem went away. So I highly recommend you open a ticket and ask the question.
Good luck!

Thanks for the reply Simon! Just a heads up, I recently upgraded to Zurich on one of our demo environments and installed DemoHub as recommended, the new Alectri demo experiences, the initial installations of things like SPM, ITSM, ITOM are saying Install time is 18 days, it appears the new Alectri stuff installs all the showcase content which can take forever, especially with us having access to GenAi on our demo instances.

Ok, wow, thanks for the warning @NateW9145055026! That upgrade to Zurich in on my to-do list. Now I know to go into it with plenty of patience.
It's worth it tho' I think. Don't know about you but I think the Alectri branding is quite cool.
