I've watched the YouTube videos posted and read the product documentation on the Platform Analytics migration but I can't seem to find the answer to my question. Is it required to use Next Experience to view Dashboards after migration? In other words can our users still be using UI16 and still view the dashboards migrated to Platform Analytics.

I think answer is NO. You can view dashboards with next experience as well

ServiceNow Response: "Using the Next Experience UI is not mandatory but will provide a better experience to your users."

Platform Analytics will indeed replace the current dashboard/reporting/analytics and can be used on both, as you said. Since it is going to be 'forced' to go to Platform Analytics after Yokohama, they couldn't have made it not working for UI16.
But my two cents: more and more is being moved into the workspaces. Next Experience will be the way forward from ServiceNow point of view. It would be good to start moving your instance (or your client instance) towards the Next Experience. Maybe even use the Platform Analytics as a way to push the user towards it. It's a getting used to, but it will really benefit your users.
