Zurich upgrade and change in user impersonation

With the last release / platform change to Zurich, the FSM default landing page changed is an unusual way.

We received an emergency request from our facilities manager regarding a change in the default Landing page.  Upon further discussion, we (IT) confirmed the default landing page seen by one of the facilities managers had changed. The flaw was with (IT), using the same methodology to confirm the landing page change as the Facilities manager through "impersonating a user". The actual user(s) did not see the change in the default landing page and the rest of the facilities staff were working as normal.

Bottom line – there seems to be a defect in the “impersonation” tool. The ability to “impersonate” a user and experience the screens and functionality of the end-user through impersonation has changed in the Zurich release. When you impersonate someone, you won’t get the same default landing page as the base user.

In that case, it’s better to log a Support case with ServiceNow so their team can assist you further.
