Actual Start and End date in Issues

How do the 'actual start date' and 'actual end date' fields get populated in the issues form? I need to ensure these don't get auto-populated

Hi @Devanshi Tiwar1 ,
On start date and end date right click on the field go to configure dictionary. click on default table and see if it has any value setting the default value.
Also you can check for client scripts realted to this fields. go to script field in list view and search for field name eg. *Start_date or *end_date.
