Hello,
We have a requirement that we build a catalog form( Catalog A) for user request.
Once the request is submitted, a reviewer will record another set of inputs based on the information provided by the requestor.
Once the Request is submitted( from catalog A), can a workflow trigger another catalog( catalog B) form for the reviewer inputs?.
Catalog A's information should be displayed on catalog B. based on the information from catalog A, reviewer will input more information in catalog B's input fields.
What are the best possible ways to achieve this.
Please help. Any thoughts, KB articles, YT videos are all appreciated.
-Thanks
Shree

seems a duplicate question
I already responded to your other thread.
sharing the response again here
yes you can use flow designer on catalog item A and use "Submit Catalog Item Request" action to submit Catalog item B
you can pre-fill variables in item B with values from item A when you use that flow action
Submit Catalog Item Request action

Hi @Shree Nag,
Catalog item cannot "trigger" another catalog form directly.
I'll resolve it like this,
When Catalog A -> creates RITM
Workflow/Flow Designer -> creates a Task (e.g., sc_task or a custom task table) for the reviewer
Task form contains the fields the reviewer must fill in
Reviewer updates those fields directly on the task
Workflow/Flow continues using the reviewer’s inputs
You can show fields from Catalog A on the task using:
Variable editor
Related fields
Custom fields mapped from variables
Hope it helps, and If my answer was helpful, please don’t hesitate to give it a thumbs-up - it only takes a second, but it means a lot to me. Thank you!
