Can we achieve Field Placeholder via Dictionary Configuration

Hey folks,

can we achieve the field placeholder for a custom or OOB field( any data type) in a table via configurations, more of like via Dictionary. Unlike scripting, using .getControl('field').

the answer was helpful, but it is not spot on, like this is not possible via dictionary. This is what we can conclude. So I'm not accepting as solution. Thanks again for the suggestion provided.

May be you can share solution you are applying in customer instance for this so that it helps other members in future
