Change Management and CSDM

My organization is currently trying to better organize our services to align with ServiceNow's CSDM guidelines. I found this guide here for How to configure incident management to align with... - ServiceNow Community, however this is largely focused on Incident Management. The issue we are trying to reconcile is using this model it would deprive us of features in Change Management such as conflict detection.

 

Are there any guides that exist out there for Change Management or how to balance the CSDM between Incident Management and Change Management
