Change the order of variable set in a catalog item

Hi,

I am trying to add a variable set to my catalog item, however my requirement is to keep a specific order of fields and unfortunately the variable set order is different. Is it possible to reuse existing variable set and change the fields order without changing the original order of this particular variable set?
