Connect Email Account via MID Server

Hey,

our SMTP Exchange Server is on-premise and only available via MID Server. Is there a way to tell my email account that the connection should be via MID?

At the moment when I test the connection I get the following error message:

Email sender connection invalid.: Cannot connect to SMTP server: [server], as: [username], message: Couldn't connect to host, port: [server], [port]; timeout 20000, cause: Connect timed out

As far as I know there is no configuration available to have email go thought the MID Server.

Did you get any luck finding solution to this? We have a similar requirement and are looking for options on this if it is feasible to implement. @PaKe
