CSM portal state field

We want to be able to expose the state field on the List view on the CSM portal so customers can see the state their case is in. Any help on doing this?

Hi @Scotty88,

 

Based on a fresh Out Of Box instance, this is easily achieved by following the below steps:

 

- Navigate to the List view on the Native (Backened and not Portal) view.

- When viewing this list, change the View to 'Customer Self Service' (To change the view, navigate to the top of the list form and click on the 'hamburger' icon or '3 lines' to bring up a menu and select the 'View >' option and then select 'Customer Self Service'.

- Right-click on one of the List view menu headers, such as 'Number' (You can select any header).

- Select 'Configure >', the 'List Layout'

- Move the 'State' field from the left slush bucket to the right in the position you would like to add it.

- Save.

 

You'll then see the State field present on the List both in the refreshed List view as well as the CSM portal view.
