Difference between Service Portal Agent Chat configuration or a (legacy) Virtual Agent Service Porta

I am bit confused between Service Portal Agent Chat configuration or a (legacy) Virtual Agent Service Portal widget, and which one i use. Please help me.

Service Portal Agent Chat Configuration is like using the "Display Settings" menu. You can easily pick from a list of predefined colors or upload an image. It's quick, easy, and officially supported.


The (legacy) Virtual Agent Service Portal widget is like manually editing the computer's registry or a system file to change the color value. It gives you ultimate control, but it's more complex, riskier, and requires you to be careful not to break anything.
