Disable 'Save' button / ui action in workspace

I want to disable the save button from CMDB table which is in sow workspace. I followed this Solved: Re: Disable 'Save' button / ui action in workspace - ServiceNow Community but When I implemented by default the save button is disable from CMDB workspace too .

 Could you please provide the input on this

could you possibly explain what's your motivation? Save button allows people to make changes to the data stored in a form/list... so if you will disable the button it will make the data unchangeable.. in my perspective it would make better sense to define who can create/update the data and give them the operation rights (via ACL), rather than to disable globally.

my requirement :
In the Service Operations Workspace, the CMDB_CI records form must be read‑only so that users can only view records without making modifications. All action buttons, including Save, should be disabled for CMDB records in this (sow)workspace, while ensuring that other workspaces and tables remain unaffected, given that Save is a global UI action across all tables.

@reenak446674965 then I will repeat myself again - adjust the ACLs accordingly... 

Depending on the child tables of CMDB or all, locate and update or create new ACL to define limited audience to edit the data and the users not included in that will have just the read role..

PS: ensure to use "@" for mentions, it's more likely that you answer will be noticed ;))
