Exclude MAC addresses as CI's in HAM

Is it possible to exclude MAC addresses from being classified as Configuration Items (CIs) in Hardware Asset Management (HAM)?

Could you please advise:

1. The recommended approach / best practice

2. Step-by-step instructions to configure this

     Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Vani Kusumba 

You need to check identification rules of the particular configuration item class because ci’s will be created based on identification and reconciliation rules in ServiceNow
