Fields in task becoming mandatory in mobile device

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue where two fields that are configured as non-required are being displayed as required when the form is accessed through a mobile device:

  • Assignment Group
  • Controller Approver

On the standard/desktop experience, these fields are not mandatory as expected. However, on mobile, users are unable to proceed unless these fields are populated.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Are there any mobile-specific configurations, such as Mobile UI Policies, Data Policies, Client Scripts, Mobile Form Settings, or Platform UI Rules, that could cause these fields to become mandatory only on mobile devices?

Any guidance on where to look or troubleshoot would be greatly appreciated.
