Get file from midserver to our pc

Hello Experts,

I have a file in the mid server. i just want to get that file in my desktop. Is there a way we can do it?

Hi @deepika46 How are you accessing your mid server ? are you using RDP to access it ?

if this is the case, you have multiple option to copy the file from mid to your desktop .

1. setting up a shared drive or folder between the RDP session and your local PC.
2. Select the file CTRL + C and then paste it into your desktop.
3. Remote Desktop Manager is a popular tool that allows users to manage multiple remote connections and transfer files between them.

yes i am accessing via RDP.

Can you please tell me how to do the first step as it is my first time:

First, create a shared drive or folder on your local PC. Then configure it to allow access from the RDP session.

Then, access the shared drive or folder from the RDP session. Here, copy or move the files you want to transfer to the shared drive or folder.

Finally, switch to your local PC and access the shared drive or folder to retrieve the transferred files.

Thank you so much for helping. i am getting the following error while trying to copy. Whom do you think i should contact regarding this like the local it or snow team like.
