Certainly! To automatically set the Assignment Group in an incident based on the category and subcategory chosen by users in ServiceNow’s virtual agent, follow these steps:
- Configure Group Types for Assignment Groups:
- Define group types using the Type field for assignment groups.
- These group types help categorize assignment groups.
- You can use them to filter assignment groups based on their type using a reference qualifier.
- Assign Group Types to Assignment Groups:
- Navigate to User Administration > Groups.
- Select the desired group and click the lock icon next to Type.
- Use the lookup icon to select one or more group types.
By linking group types to assignment groups, you can automate assignment based on category and subcategory!
