How can you make the search bar on the /sp portal display for unauthenticated users

Anyone know how to make the search bar on the /sp portal display for unauthenticated users?
I tried making the search widget public but it didn't do the trick.

Hi @ritaaudi,

Not sure why you are doing this but you would have to clear the 'Roles' field as well.
