How to Follow up and see if a configuration item have changed during a incident tickets lifecycle

Is it possible to create reports on the incident list where we can see how many times a configuration item have changed and from which one to which one. We know that we can see from reassignments but that doesn´t help us

You could create a new metric definition that counts for every change and tracks the value. You'd then need a database view to join the tables to get the display values
