How to get into IT Asset roles or simiiar

Hey Guys,

My background in IT support and projects spans over 20 years.  I use ServiceNow on a basic level and wish to learn more about it to get into a asset management role.  

Does anyone have any tips or advice to get pass the recruiter stage and interviews as I will lack industry/commercial experience.

How does one get to a role that they want to pursue.

You have not mentioned in which Asset  details ,you are looking for.

These are the roles available in Asset space.  But before that you please complete the learning courses .

• Inventory Admin: Controls stockrooms, enabling setup, organization, and adjustments of storage locations and stock transfers.

• Procurement User : Handles purchasing workflows, generating purchase orders, and tracking incoming delivery lines.

• SAM Admin : Oversees Software Asset Management, managing complex license compliance, software installations, and publisher metrics.

• HAM Admin : Manages advanced Hardware Asset Management features, normalization data, and automated hardware lifecycles.
