If we click on older version of the knowledge article in portal, it should download a pdf

We have a knowledge portal where we want the older version of the article to be printed when clicked on its URL (link) without opening it in the new tab.

Are those available on your portal? By default you can only see one version of the article, to ensure users only being able to see up to date information. It feels really weird to have multiple versions available and even make old information printable. This goes against everything ServiceNow Knowledge mgt is aiming to achieve.

Thanks for the quick response. I understand the point you have raised here.
However, the older versions are only visible to that portal admins. Some day the link which the admins might have provided to the end user will become an older version. So what we would like to achieve is, instead the admin provide the link they should be able to provide the downloaded version of that article to the end user.
