Hello community members,

We have this My approvals widget on employee center where we are trying to apply the background color but it is not working at all

1. Tried this community post solution but it doesnt work for ESC(Employee Center portal):

Solved: want to change the background color of widgets in ... - ServiceNow Community

2. Tried inspecting on the class of the widget and applied the CSS on page level as well still it doesn't work

Is there any way to fix this ? If yes Please suggest . Thanks.

I suspect portal level theme is blocking it, but I could be wrong please share your views or solution if you have encountered something similar.

In service portal, there are many levels at which you can define styles. By defining a style at a lower level of the hierarchy, you can override other styles define at higher levels. See Defining portal styles from the product documentation for more details.

Sorry Slava,

I didnt got success I tried at all levels.

Would you give a try on esc portal with my approvals widget and let me know if you can change the background inside widget from your end.

Thanks

Where do you get to see that widget in ESC? What page is it on?

In my PDI, I can only see approvals in two places, none of which is "my approvals" widget:

  1. "My active items" on the ESC homepage (/esc?id=ec_home)
  2. "My Tasks" page (/esc?id=hrm_todos_page)

In esc page put Approvals widget.
