Migrating from legacy workflow Standard Change Proposal to new flow Change - Standard - Proposal

Hey folks,

My process was going to be check-out and deactivate the legacy workflow Standard Change Proposal and then active the new flow Change - Standard - Proposal.

The new flow doesn't appear to activate, is this because it is marked read-only? If we take a copy of this new flow and activate then any future changes to the original won't be included in the copy, theoretically introducing drift. It appears strange that ServiceNow provide an OOTB flow that can't be used.

Is this correct?

@richLOUD

yes those are read-only for some purpose but you can copy

OOTB change read only flows cannot be deactivated

You need to raise case with ServiceNow to deactivate those
