Notify the Requester about Approval Rejection in Flow Designer

Hi Team,

I am trying to notify the requester when their approval is rejected by the manager in a Flow Designer.

  • I have created a Send Email action in the flow.

  • However, it is not working as expected.

Can anyone please guide me on the correct way to send an email to the requester (sys_user) when an approval is rejected?

I was also thinking — can I use an Event and Notification instead of the Send Email action in the flow to achieve this?
If possible, please provide step-by-step instructions.
