When I use a user without a role to enter a Request Item, it defaults to the Self Service view and is not controlled by the URL. Even if I write a view rule to force modification of the view, it still doesn't work. Do you know where to define the behavior of this view?

Hi @Wei_ Ling ,
If a user doesn't have any roles, the Self Service view is automatically applied because these users fall under the ESS (Employee Self Service) user category. Even if you use view rules or modify the URL with a specific view parameter (e.g., &sysparm_view=view_name), it may not apply because the system enforces the Self Service view for users without roles.
unfortunately this behavior you can not change it.
