Retroactive pause in SLA

In the SLA form, what will happen if I only enable retroactive pause, but not retroactive start. If retroactive pause will still work without retroactive start? or we can only use them together(retroactive start and pause)?

Thank you. But there they've mentioned how to implement retroactive start and pause conditions together. not for pause condition alone.
