ServiceNow and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Integration

Hi team

    We are looking to integrate ServiceNow and SailPoint's identity security cloud to manage access request from both the platforms.

What we need to achieve:

1.  To be able to manage access from ServiceNow side, which redirects the provisioning process to SailPoint.

2. To be able to create tickets in ServiceNow when managing access from SailPoint side [for non-connected systems]

3. To aggregate ServiceNow data [accounts and other entitlements] into SailPoint.

In order to achieve the above, I see the following plugins in the ServiceNow store. 

Can anyone please help me in identifying what plugins from the list above are required in order for all the use cases mentioned above to be met?

Look like these are Store apps and generally, all these are paid ones, please contact with Seller for this and also involve your SN account manager in this discussion.

SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Service Catalog

This connector enables seamless integration between ServiceNow (SNOW) and SailPoint ISC, streamlining identity and access management processes.


1) Managing Access from ServiceNow, Redirecting the Provisioning Process to SailPoint

  • Setup: Install the connector from the SNOW App Store (note: these are paid applications).
  • Configuration: Set up the endpoint URL and token code for the connector.
  • Request Workflow:
    • Access requests are submitted via the out-of-box (OOB) widget provided by the connector.
    • Requests are created in SNOW, and approval workflows can be fully managed in SNOW or ISC as per business requirements.
    • Workflow Control: SNOW manages the full approval workflow, while polling ISC via API for status updates and results.
    • Provisioning Process:
      • For connected apps: Provisioning is executed directly within ISC.
      • For disconnected apps: ISC raises a separate request in SNOW using the "SailPoint for ServiceDesk" connector for further action.

2) Creating Tickets in ServiceNow When Managing Access from SailPoint for Non-Connected Systems

  • Use the "SailPoint for ServiceDesk" connector to facilitate this process.
  • Workflow Control: ISC manages the entire workflow, raising requests in SNOW and polling SNOW for status updates.

3) Aggregating ServiceNow Data (Accounts and Entitlements) into SailPoint

  • SailPoint ISC includes internal connectors designed for seamless data aggregation.
  • Workflow Control: Aggregation processes are fully managed within ISC, with no control from SNOW.

Is it possible to configure Sailpoint as indexed source for AI Search on Employee Center Pro portal?

I can only find references about Native Search but this forces to disable AI Search.
